About people I admire

When you write or do something creative, you have to get inspiration somewhere. I want to talk about people that inspired me to write - whether it is a story, song, poem or just reflection.

Everything started in primary school. I was admiring my classmate and her skill to speak without rambling and too much pauses. She did recitations and went to many competitions. I was envious of her and I tried to do the same thing as her, but they chose her and once I told her to go to the competitions instead of me. I was too afraid that time. When I saw her writing a detective story, I decided to write one too. From that time I started writing stories, poems came later. If I have to mention an author that inspires me - there're many of them - I have to mention Kat Martin and also Christopher Paolini.

But what about songs? Once I tried to learn to play the guitar, but after few minutes of self-teaching I quit. Later in high school I found an interest in guitar lessons in dormitory. Thanks to nun teaching it, I tried to compose my own songs. Nowadays I am working on my own album thanks to her and to Korean boyband BTS that I listen to.

These people are the reasons for me to try new things, to do things that I never thought about. Thanks to them I want to give world a part of myself and I hope that my stories and songs and whatever I do will inspire others to be more creative, because creativity makes world better place to live in. It can do so many things and thanks to creativity we have medicine and technologies of today. Are you creative? What inspires you to challenge yourself?
